I am writing to see if your company has an interest in sponsoring the Stansbury High School Wrestling team and their Olympic style club, Peak Wrestling, for the 2010-2011 season. We currently have 50 high school wrestlers and 35-50 K – 8th grade wrestlers. We are getting ready to start our 2010-2011 season and are looking to raise funds to help send wrestlers to tournaments, and to help cover travel expenses that are not covered by the school district. With an annual budget of $1200 a year we are forced to put a burden on parents to help pay for travel expenses (hotels, food, snacks ….) and that is just for the high school team. Currently the Olympic style club is a non-profit club, so we work through club dues which help pay for expenses.
We offer several opportunities for your company to consider. A banner sponsorship is $300 and the banner will be displayed in the main gym at the high school during our season. Your advertisement from the banner will be announced at all home events. A tournament sponsorship can be given for any amount over $50. All tournament sponsors get their logo on the tourney shirt and your company name read during the tourney and home matches. Our tournament currently has 15 teams signed up from Utah and Nevada. We also have a blood time sponsorship for $150. We will read your advertisement during any and all blood and injury timeouts (usually 2 or three times per home match).
